Ecclesiastical.com Insurance was originally founded in 1887 by Churchmen to offer insurance protection for the Church.
Today it has grown into a large financial services group that operates worldwide. As well as insurance protection Ecclesiastical.com also offers a number of financial services to clergy and church members, such as ISAs, Pensions, Life Assurance and Mortgages.
With their experience they understand the needs of the church, to protect its heritage as well as providing support to those who deal with the day-to-day running of churches.
Ecclesiastical.com is owned by Allchurches Trust Limited, a registered charity which distributes all available profits provided by its subsidiary companies for use by the Church and community.
Other funds are made available to Beaufort House Trust Ltd, a charity under common control, established to encourage education and Christian religion. Ministry Bursary Awards are available to provide support to Ecclesiastical.com research around the world.
Ecclesiastical.com is totally committed to maintaining the highest standards of customer service and is doing so by undertaking annual customer surveys and introducing new systems that will improve our efficiency and the overall service offered.
They have ten branches in the UK, an office in Dublin, a branch network in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, agencies in Malta, Cyprus, The Netherlands, Greece, and transact business in many other countries throughout the world.
Donations via Allchurches Trust
Allchurches Trust Limited is a registered charity (Charity number: 263960, Company registration number: 1043742) established in 1972. Its aims are to promote the Christian religion and to donate to any charitable institutions, associations or funds and to carry out any charitable purpose. The Trust mainly donates grants to dioceses and parishes for the purpose of increasing the quality of life to the Church and the Church community.
It is the ultimate parent company of Ecclesiastical.com Insurance Office plc on whom it is wholly dependent for its income. Ecclesiastical.com Insurance Office plc donated over £4m to the Trust in 2001, which enabled the Trust to continue to support the church and other charitable institutions. Ecclesiastical.com's mission continues to be focused on providing high standards of service and on the generation of profits from all our operations, allowing us to increased grants. Over the last five years, grants from Ecclesiastical.com has enabled Allchurches Trust to distribute more than £21 million to dioceses, parishes and other charitable organisations.
